Today, Steve brought down a letter of acknowledgement and thanks from the RNLI for the generous amount of money raised from the sponsership half marathon Louis' teacher run. The amount from that event alone collected was £1,794.15. The RNLI Brixham will also be commissioning a suitable plaque to remember Louis which will be installed in the boathouse in Brixham. The crew from the RNLI were just as devastated at Louis' tragedy and have been a huge support and play such a major role. Most of the crew are parents themselves and all their valuable work is voluntary. They recently won a pride of Britain award and deserve every ounce of it.
